The first batch of graduates for PVF “incubator”’ accesses the V-League right on graduation day

On the afternoon of November 18, 2016 at Thành Long Sports Center, the Promotion Fund for Vietnamese Football Talent- PVF (belonging to Vingroup Corp.) officially conferred certicates of training course completion to outstanding students of the first cohort and signed their agreement in handing over their students to professional football clubs.

After eight years of continuous recruitment and training, PVF held a ceremony to confer graduation certificates to their first batch of trainees. Eight outstanding students from the batch have also officially been transferred by PVF to SHB Đà Nẵng and Hà Nội T&T Clubs to compete at the 2017 V-League. Out of these eight graduates who have been transferred to the clubs, Hà Đức Chinh, Mạc Đức Việt Anh, Đỗ Thanh Thịnh and Phạm Trọng Hóa have now competing in the jersey of SHB Đà Nẵng Club, while the other four, Hồ Minh Dĩ, Trương Văn Thái Quý, Nguyễn Vũ Tín and Lê Thanh Phong have “docked” at Hà Nội T&T. In addition, PVF will continue to lend Bùi Tiến Dụng to Quảng Ninh Coal Club, while Nguyễn Thành Lộc will stay on with XSKT Cần Thơ Club to compete at the 2017 – 2018 V-League. The above-mentioned players, born in 1997 and 1998, are the most exceptional players of PVF’s U19 batch. Among them, five players, Bùi Tiến Dụng, Hồ Minh Dĩ, Hà Đức Chinh, Mạc Đức Việt Anh and Trương Văn Thái Quý are the Vietnam U19 footballers who contributed to the country’s historic accomplishment: the Vietnam U19 team, for the first time ever, earned a spot at the 2017 U20 World Cup.

Noticeably, several players of the first cohort from this incubator had the opportunity to breathe in the air of the V-League and left strong imprints on the constituents of Quảng Ninh Coal, Đà Nẵng, Thanh Hoa and Cần Thơ Clubs. Like the U19 batch, PVF has contributed six strong U.16 contenders to the U16 national team, which was conducive to the feat of the team entering the quarterfinal of the 2016 AFC U16 Youth Championship.

PVF trainees, particularly their fresh graduates, have left strong imprints on both the club level and the national U19 team. These imprints have affirmed that PVF have pursued a proper philosophy and guideline. With a guideline not to establish professional football teams, PVF has continually invested in and incubated teenagers with football gifts from all over the country into professional footballers, who possess exceptional talent, good academic performance, good conduct and can meet international benchmarks.

Apart from training and competing in matches, PVF trainees are also entitled to academic education, foreign language studies, and care for their physical, mental and emotional growth.

PVF does not put their entire batch of players into one team to contend at the V-League as what the HA.GL has been doing. PVF’s guideline is somewhat different and effective. Its significant mission is helping hatch generations of young, well-behaved talents.
