2 goals from Nguyen Hoang Huy and substitute player Ly Trung Hieu helped PVF U19 beat HAGL I U19 and win the title of the 2020 National U19 Football Championship.
Before the final, HAGL I U19 received heavy losses when they were missing a pair of pillars in the team including center midfielder Dang Van Dan and captain Nguyen Thanh Khoi.

These losses quickly showed the inevitable consequence to the Mountain Town team. Right at the 12th minute, in a corner, HAGL I U19’s defenders made a big mistake in marking, so that Hoang Huy could comfortably receive the ball and open the score.
Lossing one goal, HAGL I U19 re-organized to attack , but the weak defenders made them almost receive the second goal at the 25th minute after a quick counterattack of PVF. Fortunately, goalkeeper Bao Duy played well enough to correct for his teammates. 1-0 is the score after the first half.

In the second half, adjustments from coach Guillaume Graechen helped HAGL I U19 have a better game with the possession and push the opponent to stay deep.

While the white team was so impatient looking for goals and engrossed in the attack, they lose the 2nd goal at the 64th minute when they exposed a huge gap behind their back. Substitute player Ly Trung Hieu escaped and finished decisively to increase the gap for the home team.

There was nothing left to lose, coach Guillaume Graechen made many substitution and pushed his team to play higher, but Vinh Nguyen and his teammates could not find even a consolation goal.

In the end, PVF U19 won with a score of 2-0 against HAGL I U19 in the final and became the champion of the 2020 National U19 Football Championship.
