04 players graduated from PVF are summoned to Vietnam U22 Team

The Vietnam U22 National team continues to target the 31st SEA Games with the second gathering in 2020 to inspect and assess the force. According to the proposal of coach Park Hang-seo, the list of 48 summoned players will be submitted to the General Department of Sports and Tourism for a summons decision. 04 players on this list are graduated from PVF, including: Le Van Xuan, Uong Ngoc Tien, Nguyen Trong Long, Nguyen Hong Son.

Due to the impact of the Covid-19 epidemic in some localities, coach Park Hang-seo could not fully summon the selected players to this gathering. However, this is not a problem as the main purpose of the U22 Vietnam in the current period is to review, inspect and evaluate the force to prepare for the 31st SEA Games, which takes place next year.

In addition, as the national team changes the gathering and training plan after FIFA and AFC decided to postpone the 2022 World Cup Qualification to 2021, some young players of the team have also been transferred to the U22 National Team for the coaching staff to monitor and evaluate. They are players like goalkeeper Nguyen Van Toan, defender Bui Hoang Viet Anh, midfielder Ly Cong Hoang Anh.

In order to ensure the prevention and control of the Covid-19 epidemic, the players summoned will be present in Hanoi on August 16 to pass the compulsory medical examination. The team will enter their first training session on the afternoon of August 18 and finish the gathering phase on August 28.
