PVF partnered with South Korea’s Busan I’Park Club

Thereby, with assistance from Busan I’park every year, PVF will hold training, competing tours in Busan City, South Korea so that PVF players will compete against reputed clubs/players belonging to South Korea’s K-League Classic system.

In a program meant to pursue and forge international cooperation ties with countries with thriving football in a bid to hone professional skills of the Promotion Fund for Vietnamese Football Talent- PVF trainees, PVF has officially inked a partnership agreement with South Korea’s professional football Busan I’park Club.

Thereby, with assistance from Busan I’park every year, PVF will hold training, competing tours in Busan City, South Korea so that PVF players will compete against reputed clubs/players belonging to South Korea’s K-League Classic system.

This is an excellent opportunity for PVF trainees to give it their best shot against highly competent competitors from the land of kimchi.

Situated in Busan City and founded in 1983 by Daewoo Corp., Busan I’park is a professional football club belonging to South Korea’s K-League Classic system. Busan I’park was named champion at the K-League Classic, the highest-rank tournament in South Korea, in 1984, 1987, 1991 and 1997; champion of FA Cup in 2004; and Runner-up of FA Cup in 2010; and champion of the AFC Champions League in 1986.

Busan I’park Club secured the sixth spot ouf of 12 K-League teams in the 2013 season. Apart from a professional football team competing for the K-League Classic, Busan I’park also runs a youth training center in ages of U12, U15 and U18. Thanks to formal training in a country where football has thrived, Busan I’park’s players boast high-level expertise and techniques. Signing the cooperation agreement with Busan I’park is thus a momentous step forward in PVF’s process of hatching young players. The two sides will send their trainees/players to the two countries for training and friendlies not only with batches of youngsters from each academy but also with teams of other clubs/academies in the vicinity.

The official signing on football exchanges and partnership between PVF Vietnam and Busan I’park football Club was carried out in 2014.

Via international cooperation programs, PVF aspires to offer its students auspicious opportunities to contend against strong teams from countries with thriving football in order to enhance their level. PVF also hopes to catapult Vietnam football to the global areana in a not-far future, and be on par with football powers in Asia and the world over.
