17/09/2020To preparing for the National U17 Championship Finals – Next Media 2020, this afternoon (September 16) at PVF Football Academy, the Organizers held a technical meeting among team representatives, supervisors, referees and local organizers.
The National U17 Championship is an official tournament in the national tournament system, annually organized by the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) to facilitate technical training and competition for young players, at the same time to support the future resources for clubs as well as to meet the development model of modern football in line with the international competition system of the World Football Federation (FIFA) and Asian Football Federation (AFC).
The Organizers conducted a technical meeting with the team representatives, supervisors, referees and local organizers.
This is the second consecutive year that VFF has cooperated with Next Media in organizing, communicating and broadcasting the tournament. Next Media’s On Sports (VTC3) ecosystem of sports and entertainment will produce and broadcast the opening, semi-final and final game live on television channels. For the remaining matches, Next Media will broadcast live on Youtube and Fanpage of VFF and Next Sports.
Besides Next Media, this year’s Finals also received the attention and support from other sponsors including On Sports Ecosystem (VTC3) (Sponsor Companion) and Dong Luc JSC.
The teams conducted a draw to schedule their matches at the technical meeting in the afternoon of September 16.
National U17 Championship Finals – Next Media 2020 takes place from September 18 to September 27 at PVF Youth Football Academy, including the competition of 8 teams: PVF, Song Lam Nghe An, Thanh Hoa, Hoang Anh Gia Lai, Phu Yen, Saigon, Dong Thap and Nutifood Academy. The teams are divided into two groups and each one of 4 teams play a round turn for points and rank. The top two teams in each group will advance to the semifinals. The two Semi-final winners will enter the final match for the championship. The two teams that lost in the Semi-Final ranks third.
With the efforts in the organization of VFF and Next Media, along with the thorough preparation of the participating teams, the National U17 Championship Finals – Next Media 2020 will promisingly bring fans exciting matches, thereby creating a competitive playing environment among football talents of the country.
