U13 PVF achieved good results in 2 major tournaments in Europe

The tour, training camp of PVF U13 team took place from May 19th to June 10th. The team visited 2 European countries, participated in 2 official tournaments which are Lennart Johansson Cup in Sweden and Carpentras Cup in France.

Besides 2 big tournaments for U13 team, U12 players had an opportunity to be experienced and to play 2 friendly games in 2 Football Academies, which are 2 famous first-league football clubs in France named Olympique Lyon and Olympique Marseilles, participated in a 8v8 four-team tournament against 4 strong teams from the South of France, namely Sorgues, Orange, Montpellier and Avigon Le Ponte

The long-day transportation with high load of games played ( over 20 matches) were such a challenge to PVF coaches and players, especially when there are many young players who travel abroad for the first time.

However, overcoming the subjective and objective difficulties, the team has earned a positive achievement, which was to rank 9/10 in Lennart Johansson Tournament (Sweden) and to rank 8/24 as well as receiving the FairPlay award in Carpentras Cup (France).

The efforts made by PVF U12 and U13 players, along with the positive attitude and acts shown both inside and outside of the pitch have created a good impression, introduced the image of the Academy in particular and of Vietnam in general to international friends.
