02/12/2017ICC Cup 2017 hosted in Singapore from 25/11 to 1/12 is U15 PVF first international tournament since the grand opening of Youth Football Training Center- PVF in Hung Yen on 20/11. Represented Vietnam, U15 came across strong opponents like U15 JDT (Malaysia), U15 Yamaga FC (Japan) and U15 COE Combined Team (Singapore).
On 25/11, PVF surpassed JDT by 2-0, thanks to the double striker Vo Nguyen Hoang. Right after, they moved on from Yamaga FC by 4-0, with the break-up of Van Chung, Viet Thien and Tien Ba (two goals). Finally, they secure their victory by the win against COE Combined Team by 8-0, with Nguyen Hoang hat-trick and Viet Thien, Nhat Vu, Van Long, Hong Son and Lam Hao.
In the semi-finals against Singapore, PVF dominated throughout the game and won the match by 3-1, with Quan Truong, Van Cuong and Nguyen Hoang.
Meeting JDT opponents in the finals, PVF continued to win by 1-0, from Quoc Hoang’s single goal.
In addition to the championship, Chi Bao- the striker, who had impressed Paul Scholes when he visited the centre last week, and Scholes had awarded Chi Bao the title of best player.
