3 players U17 PVF ran and surpass the distance of 10km in the match against U17 Thanh Hoa at U17 National Finals 2020.
In the match between U17 PVF-U17 Thanh Hoa in the 2020 U17 National, the home team won 1-0. However, the most notable highlight was not the 3 points belonging to PVF or the overwhelming battle of the red army.

According to the PVF Sports Science Division, 3 U17 PVF players, including Nguyen Duc Phu, Vo Anh Quan, and Pham Van Son, have all touched and exceeded the distance of 10km. In particular, Pham Van Son has a pitch’s moving distance close to 11km. This is a very impressive statistic for players at the age of under 17.
In fact, during the press meeting on the occasion of the gathering of the U22 Vietnam team to prepare for the 31st SEA Games, coach Park Hang-seo complained about the fitness problem of Vietnamese players. “Very few players can run 10km/game while this is the average threshold of worldwide players. I have to push the player to make 1-2 km more”, Mr. Park said.
Since Coach Park Hang-seo arrived to Vietnam, the physical condition of Vietnamese players has been significantly improved thanks to his emphasis on nutrition and physiotherapy. However, in the club, most of the players are not taken care of properly in all aspects, so it is difficult for them to maintain the same condition as when they gather with the national team.
In such a context, Coach Park must have a reason to pay attention to 3 young players of PVF. With superior physical condition, if properly trained and on the right pathway, the players will have a chance to go far. The PVF Football Academy has long been known for its modern and professional facilities and for the application of many advanced achievements in sports science around the world.
Therefore, it is not surprising that the students of this academy possess the superior physical condition.
