On October 21, 2019, Vingroup and Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) officially signed a strategic cooperation agreement to support the development of Vietnamese football. This cooperation focus on training and preparing for international tournement from 2019 to 2024; as well as reaching the finals of the 2024 Olympic and 2026 World Cup.
The cooperation agreement regarding the support for Vietnam football development between Vingroup and VFF is valid for 5 years, from 2019 to 2024. The signing of the Cooperation Agreement aims to create a legal framework in order that the two Parties can specify their cooperation each year. Accordingly, with the help of PVF academy and Vingroup, VFF continues to promote the support activities that have been implemented over the past time, expanding some assisting activities in the near future depending to VFF’s plan.
Mr. Le Khanh Hai, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism, also VFF President and Mr. Nguyen Viet Quang, Vice Chairman and General Director of Vingroup signed a strategic cooperation agreement to support Vietnam football development..
The detailed contents of this cooperation include: Helping national teams participate in international training camp ; Organizing more football tournaments for youth to create more opportunities for young players, increasing the number of matches to develop young players in a more effective way. At the same time, PVF will work with VFF to coordinate and support the development of local youth football in order to build a synchronized youth training system in several provinces and cities, which helps us acquire more modern knowledge and training methods.
Through PVF football academy, Vingroup will support especially on training and preparing for international tournaments from 2019 – 2024, all for the target of reaching the finals of the 2024 Olympic and 2026 World Cup.
Previously, the PVF Young Football Training Center of Vingroup Group has contributed directly and indirectly to the development of Vietnamese football, precisely, PVF has been providing football pitches and facilities, welcoming young teams to the academy, treating injuries for players of national teams and contributing medical and physical coaches to all national teams (from U15 to U23).
At the ceremony, Mr. Le Khanh Hai, Deputy Minister of Culture – Sports – Tourism, also VFF President affirmed: “In addition to the task of achieving good and stable results in terms of National team, VFF insists on young football training because this is the basis of the national team. Lately, VFF has proposed many solutions to create a synchronized development for Vietnamese football. This could probably means that this officially cooperation beetwen VFF and Vingroup constitute new ways to achieve new goals. VFF highly appreciates the contributions and cooperation of Vingroup in general and PVF academy in particular over the past few years. Hopefully, in the future, Vietnamese football will develop a solid foundation and reach a new level, so that Vietnam’s football World Cup dream will soon come true. “
With their leading facilities in Southeast Asia, PVF will continue to promote the support that have been implemented over the past time, also expanding some assisting activities in the near future according to VFF’s plan..
