Coach Park Hang Seo discusses with ‘White Witch’ Troussier about Vietnam U22

Coach Park Hang Seo was at PVF Academy to follow the training of Vietnam U22 in Noveber 15th.

The Korean coach had a conversation with Mr. Philippe Troussier, the coach of Vietnam U19. The discussion lasted 15 minutes on a bench with the support of an interpreter.
This is the first time that their conversation was recorded. Although taking in charge of different age group team, they seemed to have a close relationship.
Coach Philippe Troussier is considered to be the most famous coach that have worked in Vietnam. He just brought the Vietnam U19 to the 2020 AFC U19 Championship.
These players will also play in the 2021 SEA Games in Việt Nam and a more ambitious target, the 2026 World Cup.
Meanwhile, Coach Park Hang Seo is the most influential coach in Vietnam now. The 62-year-old coach will be the one who take in charge the U19 players of Mr. Troussier for these two big targets above.

In the afternoon of November 15th, the Vietnam National Team didn’t have training session. So that Coach Park Hang Seo had time to come to PVF to follow the training of the Vietnam U22. He received the report for his assistant coach Kim Han Yoon, who is directly working with the players while Coach Park Hang Seo works with the senior for the 2022 World Cup Qualification.
Currently, all the players of Vietnam U22 are completely fresh. Some injured cases such as Tấn Sinh (DF), Văn Toản (GK) and Thái Quý (MF) were in good progress. They all came back for training normally.
On November 17th, they will have a friendly match against Myanmar U22 at PVF Stadium. It’s a private match so no media allowed. One day after that, they will move to HCM City before traveling to Philippines on November 22nd.
On November 25th, Vietnam U22 will have their first match in 2019 SEA Games against Brunei U22.
