20/03/2020PVF is hosting Group A of Vietnam U19 Championship Qualification with many shining names for the final tournament this year.
Group A includes 06 teams: Quảng Ninh U19, Phố Hiến U19, Nam Định U19, Viettel U19, Hà Nội U19 and PVF U19.
Hà Nội U19 is the defending champion. Viettel U19 is a redoubtable opponent with excellent players. PVF U19 enjoys their home advantage with the core players just won runner-up of the Vietnam U17 Chapionship last year.
Hà Nội U19 (trắng) played against PVF U19 (red) in a dramatic match.
As predicted, 05 rounds passed excitingly although there were no supporter due to Covid-19 social distancing. Viettel U19 with 04 wins and 01 draw currently leads the group with 13 points. PVF U19 with 03 wins, 01 draw and 01 defeat is at the 2nd place with 10 points. Hà Nội U19 follows these two closely with 07 points.
In this group, Phố Hiến U19 is a big surprise. They are PVF players born mostly in 2003 & 2004. They played with a renewed spirit and got 07 points, equal to Hà Nội U19.
05 group leaders and 02 best runner-ups will join the final tournament with the host.
According to the plan, the 2nd leg will start from Mar 16th. But due to the complication of the Covid-19, on Mar 14th, VFF has officially announced to postpone the Vietnam U19 Championship Qualification. We all hope to get well through this situation so the games can comeback at PVF.
