Many Vietnamese players are being monitored and supported by the PVF staff. Such players include defender Do Thanh Thinh, midfielder Luong Xuan Truong and midfielder Nguyen Hai Huy, striker Ha Minh Tuan, center back Do Duy Manh and midfielder Nguyen Huy Hung.

Do Thanh Thinh was injured at the 2020 AFC U23 Championship. Luong Xuan Truong ruptured his right knee ACL during a training session in October 2019. After a period of surgery in Korea, the Tuyen Quang-born midfielder was sent to PVF by HAGL for convenience in the treatment.
