PVF U15 Team ranked 11th at ADTF 2019

At the 5th time participating the U15 ASEAN Dream Football Tournament – ADTF 2019 in Thailand, PVF U15 finished 11th in total 16 teams.

Along with the core young players from PVF, many excellent players from other academies such as Thanh Hóa, Nam Định and Công An Nhân Dân were selected to join the PVF U15 Team. This year, the tournament took place at the same time with the U15 ASEAN Cup so that PVF U15 Team could not have the strongest team for the competition as 6 of the PVF U15 players were called up for the Vietnam U15 National Team of coach Đinh Thế Nam. Although, we still made good impression at the tournament.

Lots of famous team took part in the tournament, such as Chonburi FC, Bangkok Glass FC, Chiangrai United, SCG Muangthong United, Port FC, Vissel Kobe… so this is a good chance for the young players to compete and get the experience.

PVF U15 Team was in group D with 3 other teams: SCG Muangthong United, Port FC (from Thailand) and Omiya Ardija (from Japan). After that, we had 2 other matches with U15 Chingrai United and U15 PT Prachuap both from Thailand. We finished 11th in the tournament.

Every year, beside all the national youth tournaments, PVF always tries to have international experience for the player by competing in international tournaments. In 2019, PVF’s Technical Director has planned for PVF U14 to U18 to participate in international tournaments such as ADFT in Thailand, Singapore, Netherlands, Sweden, Japan…
