Signing ceremony of comprehensive partnership development between PVF & FK Sarajevo

On October 28, 2019, PVF football academy and Bosnia & Herzegovina’s FK Sarajevo operated the Signing ceremony of comprehensive partnership development. This cooperation brings the opportunity to improve the quality of players training and competition from both sides, and at the same time contribute to the development of Vietnamese football to take part in the football map.

According to the agreement, the PVF Academy (PVF) belongs to Vingroup and FK Sarajevo (FKS) will have a strategic cooperation in terms of expertise and technical. The two sides will consider the possibility and the promotion of exchange, bringing Vietnamese players the Premier League in Bosnia and Herzegovina (“BiH”) and vice versa. Each year, both sides will have training camps at each other’s establishments. The agreement has a duration of 3 years (2019-2022) and will be renewed according to the consistency of the two parties.

The agreement with FKS is a new stage of PVF towards the objective of developing football talents, contributing to the national sport in general and Vietnamese football in particular to assimilate into the big playground of the region and Europe and the world.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Le Khac Hiep – Vice Chairman of Vingroup, Chairman of the Executive board of PVF football Academy said: “With the objective of training to raise the Vietnamese players, FKS will become a bridge to bring Vietnamese players to participate in the “big playground” of Europe. At the same time, FKS can provide high quality players for domestic teams. PVF and FKS share their knowledge and experience in training and developing players towards the objective of joining Vietnamese football team in the FIFA World Cup 2026.”


The facilities of PVF are considered as modern as the leading football academies in the world.

The Chairman of FK Sarajevo Senad Jahic shared: “Vietnamese football has made a great progress in regional and international zone. In particular, PVF has trained many high quality players, participating in teams with good achievements in domestic and regional competitions. We believe that this cooperation will be an opportunity to develop football of two countries as well as contribute to promoting the image of Vietnam and Bosnia & Herzegovina.”

During the visit and training in Vietnam, U19 FKS players will join the U21 international tournament organized by the media press Thanh Nien 2019 from 30/10 to 05/11 at Da Nang city.
Previously, Vingroup and Vietnam Football Federation officially signed an agreement with the focus on training and preparing forces for international competitions from 2019-2024; the objective is to reach the 2024 Olympic and FIFA World Cup 2026.

Fudbalski klub Sarajevo (Sarajevo football club) is a Bosnian professional football club based in Sarajevo, the capital city of Bosnia & Herzegovina and is one of the most successful clubs in the country. The club plays its home matches at the Asim Ferhatovic Hase Stadium, with the capacity of 34.500. Today, FK Sarajevo is one of the most prominent members of the Premier League of Bosnia and Herzegovina, where it has won four Bosnian championships, six Bosnian Cups and one Bosnian Supercup. It is ranked first in the Premier League of Bosnia and Herzegovina all-time table and is the the country’s most prominent representative in European competitions. PVF football academy was founded in 2008 by Vingroup, with the mission of training and providing talented players to professional football in Vietnam, the world-class football team. The objective of PVF is to contribute players and the best supporting services to the national teams, along with Vietnamese football to the 2024 Olympics and the finals of the FIFA World Cup 2026 World Cup. From 2010 to January 9 2019, PVF has won 16 championships and 09 second prize in National Youth Tournament; 09 Championships, 2 runners-up international youth tournaments.
